90 years ago, cereals were produced in the fields of Monte Inglês. Today, the main activities are horseback riding and dairy farming.
Although occupations have changed, there is something that has always lasted over decades: dedication, humility and love for the craft. Three convictions that run in the owner's DNA.
Divided between the house, the garden, the riding stables, the milking and pastures, Monte Inglês has 60 hectares of pure freedom and comfort.
The main house features rustic and classic architecture. It consists of three bedrooms, shared kitchen and dining room. In front of the house, there is also the Casa da Cavalariça, an old caretaker’s house, restored to receive guests.
Connected to the main house, there is a ballroom with a privileged view of the arena.
In the garden, the green of the trees and grass contrast with the red tones of the house, creating a truly serene and relaxing atmosphere.
Monte Inglês has high-quality facilities for riding: an indoor arena, an outdoor arena and several comfortable stables for the animals.
A few meters above the outdoor arena is the dairy farm, which since 1990 has been producing milk with unique characteristics. It has about 90 happy cows, with modern facilities and a lot of passion.
Located in the parish of Fajã de Cima, Monte Inglês is a 10-minute drive from the airport and the center of Ponta Delgada. It is also 30 minutes from the stunning Lagoa das Sete Cidades and 10 minutes from a dip in Milícias beach.
